about me

Hey there!

I’m

I’m a Portland, Oregon mortgage expert advisor, podcaster, and communicator with big dreams. Obsessed with my wife, smart home devices and Nike shoes.

Over eight years ago I was stuck spinning my wheels, attempting to rebound from hitting rock bottom in life. Life had taken me for a spin due to the damage of an unhealthy relationship. The choices I made left me empty-handed, broke, near homeless, and out of touch with family and friends. Within six months, I had gone from having a reliable job and a beautiful downtown apartment to renting a garage in a duplex and working part-time at a deli. I was lost, and lacked inspiration. Fortunately, an amazing woman (now my wife) and I crossed paths. She ignited a fire in me to become a better version of myself. This is when I began to strive to restore my original self and begin the journey to be the best version of myself.

Six years ago a Portland real estate mortgage team gave me the opportunity with a startup job in the industry. During my first year, my responsibilities were filled with assisting well-established mortgage professionals with their already grown client list of real estate agents, home buyers, and sellers.

I strive to restore my original self and begin the journey to be the best version of myself...I quickly realized that my passion in the industry was a serious opportunity to impact people's lives by focusing on genuinely servicing clients for their long-term financial decisions.

Assisting leaders in the industry gave me a foot in the door to the real estate & mortgage world, and gave me the ability to learn about the financial and real estate industry. I quickly realized that my passion in the industry was a serious opportunity to impact people's lives, by focusing on genuinely servicing clients for their long-term financial decisions. I understood that there was a need to communicate that the process of home buying and selling was an obsolete process, and it is in need of a more educative and transparent approach. This inspired me to go from being an Office Assistant to Licensed Mortgage Originator, and to managing a team who were part of the opening of a mortgage bank branch.

What brings me joy is being able to help my clients to have a full understanding that their financing process is properly structured; that they have a grasp of what the terms and fees associated are for. I like to embrace their why and what lies ahead for their lives.
